Last night went pretty smoothly. I didn't have too many "scary" parents, and I got lots of appreciation from most everyone. Many parents love the way I do homework, classroom management, etc. etc. I love hearing compliments and knowing the parents really do appreciate how much I do for their children. I got home just in time last night for Lost. Yay! Of course I was already recording it on my beloved dvr, but it's always nice to be home and watch it.
Remember the before mentioned flat tire of last weekend? I wish I could forget. Well, the tire store couldn't find any of the tires I need for my car. Let me back up just a bit and fill you in on the story. After buying my Acura, TSX about 3 years ago, I bought a fabulous set of snow tires for winter. Each tire was $150, too expensive if you ask me. Well, recently I've heard the Euro dollar is worth more than the American dollar. Uh oh! My tires were made in Germany, and guess how much it would be to order them now? $360. Yes, per tire I might add. And I thought $150 was bad. Needless to say I will be changing my tires this weekend to my street tires. I don't have to travel far anymore going to work so there's not much for me to be worried about, ya know? Hopefully by next year I can get my one tire at normal price so I won't have to waste the other 3 tires. Gotta use 'em if I've got 'em.
