Last Day For Me! Hooray!

Have I mentioned I'm going off track today? I'm so excited. Today is also Dr. Seuss Day. I think his real birthday is March 2nd if I'm not mistaken, but our school decided to celebrate it today. At first I wasn't too excited about thinking of things to do when most of my supplies are put away, I know, I'm such a party pooper at times. I do LOVE my Dr. Seuss books, don't get me wrong. I have quite the collection to be honest. One of my student's dad's wanted to come in, dressed as the Cat in the Hat, and read to my kiddies. I then suggested to him maybe he would want to stay and read to the other 3rd grade classes? Yes, he's wonderful, and said he would love to. Now my day will be quite easy. We're doing reading rotations this morning until morning recess, then I think we'll be watching some Dr. Seuss videos, which I'm be enjoying as much as the children, if not more. My day will be quite easy. Yay! Then off track time for me.
