I've been wanting a gaming system forever. Okay, so not literally forever, but long enough to feel like forever. I love playing video games, I love people that love to play video games with me. I'm a nerd what can I say? I really want Rock Band and love anyone that will let me play theirs. I could list a whole bunch of games that I enjoy or want. I've sort of been thinking about Wii, just because they make the Wii Fit, and I do need to start working out or doing some sort of exercise before I start weighing 500 lbs. So my question to all of you is what gaming systems do you have? Which one would you suggest for me to get? Are some better than others? Are there any games that you love?

we have a wii. (it was garrett's) and he had wii fit. it's fun. for a short time. but it's surely not an exercise program. most of the activities last for less than a minute. you won't lose weight on it. we also have guitar hero world tour & rock band 2... i'd say guitar hero is probably just a little bit better, but i love playing them both. there's so many fun games on the wii. you're welcome to come play mine anytime before you make a huge purchase like that...
I have Rockband for XBOX 360 and love it!!! I would totally recommend the 360 to everyone but to be honest I see you more of a Wii kind of person.
I think that XBOX 360 crowd is more hard core gamers and the Wii is for people who like to play but aren't die hards and the Wii is more of a delicate/sexy gaming system(girly) and the XBOX is more manly and you are definitely more girly than manly. If that is the case I don't know what that says about me, so maybe I am just crazy! LOL
I have heard that the loosing weight on the Wii is a hoax and just a selling gimmick. However, I would disagree and say Rockband is better than Guitar Hero so much more to do and play.
Anyhow, you asked and those are my thoughts on the matter.
But break the stereotypical rules and get a 360!!! Then you can also get XBOX live and we can play online.
XBOX360 has much better online play! However, Wii does have Mario, and other kid games if you like them. XBOX360 is definately more hardcore
