Showers

For those of you that remember I redid my shower in the master bathroom about 2 years ago.  Overall, I loved it.  I hated the guy that did it because he took freakin' forever and he was sloppy and didn't have things to perfection like I wanted.  But it was definitely an improvement to what I had before.

I few months ago, or so, I noticed some of the tiles in my bathroom popping up from the floor.  I started getting even more worried when I noticed the grout on the step into my shower was cracked and shifted.  My cousin's brother in law does tile (too bad I didn't know him before) and I had him come out to look at it.  He popped off the tile by the shower that was almost completely lifted.  MOLD!!  The stupid shower has probably been leaking from when it was first put in 2 years ago because the moron did a crappy job.  We have to rip out at least half of the walls and floor in the shower, and fix who knows how much damage.  Oh, and who knows how much damage the neighbors garage ceiling below me has as well.  Then we have to change all of the tile on the bathroom floor since that has all popped up, since it wasn't put down correctly in the first place.  It might be until the first part of December before the guy can come and work on it since he's booked up until then.  Luckily I have another shower to use in the guest bathroom in the meantime.  :(
