End of Year Tests

What a pain end of year tests are! I think the teachers stress more about them than the students do. I am doing my tests next Monday thru Thursday of next week. But lucky me got a note from a parent today about her child missing ALL of next week. Yucky! I'm hoping no one else will do that to me. Luckily though, he's a smart kid, so having him make it up should be easy enough.

We're still reviewing as a class, which of course NO one remembers anything we've learned about this year. Crappy for me! I hate end of year tests, they're the longest days in the universe since all I do is walk around and around the dang classroom for hours on end. I need a break more than the kids do by the end. Ha! But on the bright side, I don't have a lot to plan that week, which is nice considering the following week I go off track! Hallelujah for me!!

Garrett and Ashlie

Here are my cuties again! I just love them! Garrett still calls me "Neni", even though I think he can say "Aunt Melanie", but "Neni" sounds so much better! And cute little Ashlie at first called me "Nini", but recently it seems to be "Meni". Aren't they just adorable? Its even better that I can enjoy them yet they're not mine to deal with during the cranky times. Hehe! Sorry Laura. :)

Halloween

Ok, so I know that Halloween is over and all, but I just love this picture! These are my sister's kids, Garrett is Jack Sparrow, for the 2nd year now I think, and cute little Ashlie is a duck, her favorite animal! Hehe! Aren't they just the cutest things ever?!

Speaking of Friends episodes

Remember the Friends episode with Phoebe in her apartment, and the dang blasted smoke alarm battery dies so it keeps beeping all night? She takes it off, takes out the battery, goes back to bed, and YET again it beeps! She keeps this up forever it seems, until she starts smacking it with something or other. But alas, no such luck, still beeping! Well, at midnight last night I had such a lucky experience. I called Matt to help render the situation, but in trying to fix it, he set it off. I found it quite hysterical by this point, mostly because I was so tired and cranky, but it was pretty dang funny!
